Better ST and Server Migration support the SoundTouch hardware family. Everyday playback and grouping are broadly available, while detailed settings depend on the exact model and installed firmware.

SoundTouch speakers
SoundTouch 10, 20, 30, Portable, 300, and related SoundTouch systems work with Better ST for discovery, playback control, grouping, and the settings exposed by their firmware.
- Physical Preset buttons 1–6 after Server Migration
- Radio Browser, favorites, Super Presets, and compatible Mixtape playback
- Volume, bass, playback, source, grouping, and available device settings
- Clock display control on supported SoundTouch 20, 30, and Portable systems
Wave systems
Wave systems are supported, but their source and hardware behavior can add a step that standalone speakers do not need.
- Switch to AUX or SoundTouch mode if a physical Preset does not respond after migration
- Power-cycle the system before moving to a factory reset and fresh migration
- Expect the available controls to follow the installed SoundTouch hardware and firmware
CineMate, Lifestyle, and SoundTouch 300
Home-theater systems are supported for their SoundTouch capabilities. Better ST can expose additional settings when the model reports them.
- Center and surround channel levels on supported systems
- HDMI-CEC, HDMI input, remote source assignment, and speaker selection where available
- Model-specific grouping, playback, audio, and standby controls
Check before troubleshooting
Two systems with the same product name can behave differently when their firmware or network setup differs. Record the model and firmware shown in Better ST before contacting support.
- Keep the phone and speaker on the same local network
- Disable guest-network isolation for the devices you want to control
- Power-cycle the system before a factory reset
- Include the Better ST version, model, firmware, and steps tried in a support request
